M.A.P. Billet Cylinder Kits are fully CNC machined extrusions. Expensive 6061-T6 alloy billet extrusion, similar to a forging, is compressed and formed under extreme pressure for correct grain alignment to the shape of the largest fin, producing considerable increase in strength over normal billet material, but especially when compared to 356 castings. 

This item is especially for 1966 and earlier unit and pre-unit 650cc model crankcases that do not have provision for the exhaust tappet oil feed in the crankcase.  Gives that clean look without machining the base of our later model cylinder.  Includes 8.5-1 Cast pistons.  Must use with '63-on "9-Bolt" Unit Cylinder head and rocker boxes.

Includes ARP Headbolts and Base Nuts as applicable.

Note: If using a '71-72 Cylinder head we recommend an Upgrade for the 3/8" fasteners inside the Rock Box to T140 Style.  This upgrade allows for re-torqueing without having to remove rocker box.  Very convenient.
