MAP's 4340 H beam connecting rods are the best rods you can buy for your 500cc Triumph!

Fits:

  • All T100 models from 1959 to 1974 (Unit construction only including Tiger, Daytona, Trophy)
  • Note: For T100, TR5T, TR5 500cc pre-unit models, use MAP7061

Dimensions:

  • 5.312 center to center
  • .688 pin size

Features:

  • Ultra-high quality, manufactured from exotic 4340 forged steel
  • Unlike alloy rods, this is a lifetime rod
  • Not effected by heat cycles like alloy rods
  • Balanced to +/- 1 gram
  • H-Beam design for rigidity and strength
  • "Solid Works" designed and stress tested
  • Shot Peened for stress relief
  • Includes race-type ARP2000 Bolts (220,000 lb. tensile strength)
  • Innovative machined piston oil squirting notches
  • Double Wrist Pin Oilers
  • Unique Reinforced small end critical areas without adding excess weight or cost
  • Use with Stock Triumph Rod Bearings B2047M

Finite element analyzed design by High Cotton MotoWorks allows for:

  • Re-shaped pin boss for added strength (helps prevent "pin flex"& small-end failure)
  • Double “Forced” pin oilers to reduce friction and piston pin heat
  • Bushed small end (replaceable) eliminating the need for fragile and expensive DLC pins
  • Optimized big-end and pin boss for strength with the ALL important reduced weight compared to other steel rods

Note:

  • Unlike the stock Triumph rods, these rods have been designed without a big end oiling hole because it is not necessary. Other oiling systems make the oiling hole in the big end unnecessary.
