What's the difference between the 97-4380/P2 and 97-4380/2 forks?

The /P suffix on our part number usually denotes a part that is a pattern copy or an aftermarket part, typically not made in the United Kingdom. These are normally very good quality parts offered at a lower price point. The parts using the standard Triumph, BSA or Norton part numbers without a /P denote parts made in the UK.

How well do your stainless stanchions match up to hard chrome

The stanchions (fork tubes) we sell in stainless steel are very good quality. They are far superior to anything we see made in chrome today. The added benefit is while chrome will rust, stainless resists rusting. There was a time when you could get excellent quality, hard chrome processing, but there are very few providers of that and it is very expensive. So, if you're looking for good fork tubes, this is truly your best bet.
