M.A.P. Cycle Billet Piston Kits for Routt, Morgo, Aerco, Chatland and MAP BIG BORE cylinders.  Not for OEM cylinder use.

    • Hi-Silicone, low expansion, Hi-Strength 4032 aluminum alloy.  The ultimate for severe use in air cooled engines.
    • 100% CNC Machined, utilizing the latest “Solid Works” CAD design. This allows for consistent cross-section providing the most even heat distribution with the highest weight reduction (lightest commercially available piston kits for less vibration).
    • Lo-Dome "Tight Quench" design for efficient flame travel and combustion (9.5:1 compression ratio and higher)
    • Zero Deck design for max power while minimizing octane requirements (9.5:1 compression ratio and higher)
    • 2nd Ring-Land "Accumulator" groove to prevent unloading of the top ring from trapped blow-by.
    • Tapered wrist pin (I.D.) for rigidity and weight reduction
    • “Micro Groove" piston skirt for high scuff resistance.
    • Race Type "SpiroLoc" clips for reliability - Won't come out
    • Latest piston cam design reduces noise, and increases life better than any other commercially available vintage Brit Bike piston kit.

    Updated wrist pin oiling:

      • 4 location pressure fed wrist pin oilers
      • Increases oil volume to pin
      • Dual clocked pin bore grooving holds and disperses the oil around the wrist pin
      • Minimizes heat buildup to prevent galling between the small end of the rod and the wrist pin

    Race proven ring pack features:

      • Perfectly round making these the best sealing, quickest seating rings available.
      • Modern sizing for the least amount of friction with the most amount of heat transfer for cooler running pistons.
        • 1.0mm Nitrided Stainless Steel Barrel-Face Top Ring
        • 1.2mm Ferrox Cast-Iron Napier 2nd
        • 2.8mm Nitrided Stainless Steel Rails with expander (3 piece design)

Hello, i am looking for the highest compression pistons i can get for my T120TT i have running on menthol. need to measure 77.3 mm and i am running 650 rods so i need 650 wrist pin size. Thanks,

I have a Morgo Mk III 750 Big Bore Kit and the bore size is 75.5mm. Do you have the Triumph T120 Big Bore Billet Piston Sets in this bore size? If so are they available in the 9.5:1 and 10.5:1 compression ratio?

Approximately how many grams are 77.75mm 9.5:1 a piston (complete assembly)? Thanks - is there a table with the weights on anywhere on your site?

I have Routt Triumph cylinders bored to 3.059 inches or 77.7 m. m.
Please advise availability of pistons and ring kits - prefer high compression 9.5 or 10.5 to 1.

I have a 1967 Triumph Bonneville T120R that has a Routt 800 big bore kit. Can MAP machine the cylinders for fitment of new pistons? Also, I am wondering what other performance parts you offer that will help the performance of this Routt kit?

Hi,
I have a 750 Routt kit on my '68 T120. Because of age and health I can no longer start the bike. When I quit racing MANY years ago, I had extra parts and up-graded my Bonneville. I no longer remember much about the parts I used, so I'm not sure which compression ratio to order... I don't want a "wimpy" motor... What would the compression ratio be on a stock 650?
