When combined with the MAP capacitor, is the absolute best combination for battery less operation. As a two piece assembly, the capacitor if blown will not take out the entire unit.
NOTE: For safety, it is best to use a battery for the brightest lights, especially at idle. Wiring Diagram shown is for Positive (+) ground systems only. For negative ground swap the black (brown) and red wire positions
Easy installation instructions:
Attach yellow leads to the alternator.
The dark brown lead is positive. This lead gets connected to the blue/brown wire on the bike’s wiring harness. This blue/brown wire should go to the battery.
The red (or orange) wire is grounded.
Disconnect and remove the old Zener diode on the bike. Be sure to tape up the lead so it can’t short out anywhere.
