I put a set of these on my 68 TR6R (w/Bonneville Head) on my bike back in 82 when I first bought it
With the Route Big Bore Kit and Web31 cams they ran like champs and even later when I had to switch back to a stock 650 top end
Just rejetted and kept going
Unfortunately back then there were no decent air cleaners for them so I eventually replaced them with a brand new set of Amals
I'm now seriously thinking about going back to these since my bike never ran better than it did with these
Gotta love the performance they provide!

Important notes about this kit:
When jetting our carburetor kits, we only use brand new, genuine Mikuni components. We have been setting these kits up for decades. We've provided the jetting that works for the majority of bikes -- from stock to mildly modified engines. However, due to the nature of engines and the fuel requirements they have, we cannot guarantee perfect tuning for every single motorcycle. Engine modifications, riding altitude, fuel type and ambient temperature all influence fuel requirements which must be met for proper engine function. That's why include we include a range of extra jetting.
Halfway through 1968 there was a change over to 16-TPI course-thread manifolds. Please make sure of your manifold type prior to ordering. If you have a question, please e-mail us a picture of your manifold.
The factory air box must be removed or modified.
Installation of this kit will require that you remove the factory thread-in manifolds from the head, for installation of our included thread in adapters.
