MAP Norton Commando 750 & 850cc High Performance Cam

Provides broad power-band with great all around street and highway performance
Makes good use of big Norton engines with strong mid range and increased top end
Wide, smooth power-band
Fits all 750 and 850cc engines with slight modifications

Note:

Be sure to check clearances on 750cc engines
Always best to use resurfaced, "perfectly flat" or "like new" lifters
Use high-performance valve springs

We have these cams built in the UK by a manufacture that has been building Triumph, BSA and Norton cams for decades.

Hello, I am currently rebuilding a 850 commando. Is this cam a good choice for something to provide slightly more power than stock?

This performance cam will provide excellent gains throughout the power band especially when paired with our MAPO0382, VM36 MIkuni carb kit. The cam allows greater fuel flow through the cylinder head while the advanced carb provides the greater fuel/air mixture.
We have revised the instructions to have the lifters resurfaced to a "perfectly flat" or "like new" state. High performance springs are also recommended.
