This light has only has 2 wires; a red and black. Which is the taillight and which is brake light? What about a ground wire?

We usually don't advise on wiring because we don't know how your bike is set up or if it has been modified from the original (stock) wiring.
I can say, without advising you, in many cases with motorcycle taillights, if you don't see an obvious ground wire (connected to base of the bulb holder or the body of the light), that usually means the the light's body is grounded to the frame by it's connection to the fender. The frame is almost always grounded directly to the battery. When the fender makes metal-to-metal contact with the frame, it is grounded. When the light is bolted to the fender, it too is grounded. On lights using dual-filament bulbs such as this, the red wire is usually reserved for the brake light and the black wire for the running light. If you have rubber bushings between the light and the fender, run a ground wire to one of the bolts holding the light to the fender. That way the light can be grounded.
