These rods are the best vintage motorcycle rods ever built. We have sold hundreds and had ZERO failures - even in racing bikes all over the world. So yes, they will give a normal street bike excellent service. They are far superior to the stock rods.
If you add quality bearings and a good dynamic balance (which removes the rocking couple imbalance the factory static balance could not) along with a clean careful assembly, you'll keep this bike going at least 42 years, it not longer.
If you can find English-made shells, they are good. However, as of the last 10 years or so, shells have been made just about everywhere but in the UK. Our shells are made in the USA by Clevite-Mahle. You can be assured of their quality and performance. They are absolutely top shelf.
